Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

At the end of the school year, I want my students to be better versed in the integration of science, technology, art, and math in their daily lives.

My teaching experience thus far has been incredible.

I've learned so much in my first year, and there is so much more to learn. We have new science standards to implement, and I am in need of some books to help me master them. With books, I'm able to read them, note take, and have them on hand when needed.

My Project

Along with the new standards, teachers have to have driving questions to help push the students to more questions and dedicated inquiry. These questions, called "essential question," are to help students learn to be better questioners and help them develop their intellectual capacity and critical thinking. These books will help with that. I also would like to learn more about the implementation of the new science standards, which require teachers to bridge science, technology, math, english, and more. These books will help with that, too.

These materials will help make my students lives and educational experiences better by making me a better teacher.

The new science standards are rigorous and intense. They will surely make students of today be better consumers of information and engaged citizens. To help them on that path, I would like to develop my skills as a rigorous teacher.
