This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Interaction! Collaboration! Experimentation! Fascination! Imagine being able to provide all the 'tions for our 7th grade Science students, by replacing their desks with tables so that they can interact, collaborate, and experiment with all the fascination it provides.

Our elementary school is located on the southeast side of Chicago.

The majority of our students (89%)receive free/reduced lunches because they are from low income families. Our school has a large Hispanic population. We service students from Pre-K to 8th grade.

My Project

The 7th grade Science classes are in need of classroom tables in order to effectively execute Science experiments, collaborate and interact as teams. With the assistance of Smart technology I foresee an interactive Science classroom which will captivate the students and foster a love for learning.

High schools look at how successful students are in 7th grade.

With the right classroom equipment our students will be better equipped to succeed and excel in Science and in their personal endeavors.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
