My Project

I have an amazingly diverse group of fourth graders who are loving in their own way. They succeed in what is important to them but try their hardest when learning gets tough. My students struggle outside of school and sometimes lack resources at home and my goal is to support them in school.

I want whisper phones to help students stay focused and listen to their reading.

I am hoping the whisper phones will help students who struggle with sounding out words and those who excel in reading will be able to focus on comprehension.

Students struggle with falling in love with reading and my goal with this project is to provide students with different resources that will get them excited. Often times my students do not feel seen through literature and diverse books will be able to connect to them on a personal level.
