Students Learn STEAM with High Resolution 3D Printing Resin!

Help me give my students the experience of 3D printing with the ELEGOO Mars 4 Ultra! This package contains everything needed to create, wash, and cure their creations efficiently and safely.

My Project

Here at LHS, we are working on creating a maker-style space for students to stretch their creativity! STEAM is the theme and 3D printing using the Mars 4 Ultra Resin printer is the way to go.

Students will use resin 3D printing to create high-resolution models for tabletop gaming in partnership with our game club, detailed parts for miniature models for science class, and overall exposure to this technology.

Students currently have access to 3D printing via Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) using ABS and PLA plastic. Resin printing will give students the experience and confidence to make their ideas come to life!

Students at LHS are learning the basics of Additive Manufacturing and 3D printed resins are the next step. This technology comes with a learning opportunity that aligns with our focus on integrating the arts and sciences whenever possible. Many students are interested in 3D printing and designing but do not have the means to access these technologies at home due to costs and know-how. We would like to provide all students with the opportunity to get creative and learn new technologies!
