This LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kit will allow FIRST Robotics Team 6538, The Linc-Bots, students to learn about the FIRST LEGO League hands on. The high school students will be mentoring elementary teams in the fall and would benefit greatly from a head start on learning the challenge and how to work with EV3 Mindstorms. Lincoln robotics has been around at the high school level for 3 years and many of our current members have expressed a desire to help share their passion with the younger students in our district. This opportunity would help immensely in jump starting our elementary students into STEM and robotics in our district. The FIRST LEGO League is a stepping stone/feeder program to the FIRST Robotics competition team here at the high school. Please consider giving our eager group of high schoolers a chance to mentor their younger Linc-Bots!
