My Project

Research has shown that students who receive social emotional learning instruction and mental health support at school have improved academic achievement and life outcomes. At my school, my students are already showing that they are benefitting from our current social emotional practices. The items for this project include literature, self-regulation tools, and counseling resources that will help further support the mental and social emotional health of my students. These resources will allow me to not only improve my existing knowledge about what improves students' social and academic functional but also provide students with more helpful tools known to produce positive outcomes.
