My Project

The items in this project will provide alternate seating options, lighting enhancements, positive behavior supports (such as stickers, markers, pencils, erasers, etc.) and essential supplies. Many of the items, like erasers, pencils, and stickers, are continually used in the classroom and will refresh our prize box and support the learners with positive behavior reinforcement. The materials will be instrumental in supporting on-task behaviors and learning for my students who struggle with work completion and following directions. There will be rewards for the students to look forward to at the end of class.

Additionally, the stools will be an alternate seating option for learners in my classroom who seek movement and feedback in different ways.

These flexible seating options support all of my students daily. The light covers and string lighting will provide an alternate lighting solution to the florescent lighting present in the classroom. Finally, the classroom supplies such at tissues are a continued need that will be greatly appreciated through the end of the school year.
