My Project

Our GATE students are getting ready to build model bridges for the Southern Nevada Model Bridge Building competition that takes place at the Universtity of Nevada, Las Vegas every year. We are so excited to utilize the STEM design process as well as problem solving skills and collaboration to create a masterpiece. Students will be asked to follow specific requirements based on weight and size in order to qualify for the competition. Bridges will be tested based on how much load they can bare.

This is a huge project and incredible opportunity for the students.

However, we need some space to store our work while we are completing it. After all, 32 bridges need lots of space! Please help us reach our goal by donating to our project for collapsible shelves in our classroom.
