Located in a very small, rural community, my students come from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our entire student body is approximately 400 students, all of whom receive free breakfast and lunch daily. My students are not on grade level and have been placed in my remedial math courses. I have a love for math and by the time they leave my class, I strive to impress this same love of math upon them. I aim to make learning meaningful by incorporating Common Core curriculum and 21st-century skills into my teaching.
My Project
In this project I am requesting some protective gear for my iPad. I am requesting this so that students can use the iPad for learning without having to worry about damaging the iPad, and for when those accidents do happen- the iPad will be safe.
The thumb drive in the project is compatible with both the classroom iPad and the computer!
This is important so that student work can be saved to the thumb drive and then quickly and easily be uploaded to the SmartBoard for presentations.
In this project I also have requested index graphing cards on which students will complete tasks requiring them to graph on a coordinate plane. The last items in this project are to redecorate my bulletin boards.
