My Project

Movement activities in early childhood programs are so important! From ages 3 to 5, our students are quickly growing and developing in so many motor areas, including: motor timing and coordination, balance, strength, postural awareness, activity tolerance, and functional mobility. Planned and guided movement activities and opportunities are necessary for typical and organized development of these emerging gross motor and mobility skills.

These movement supplies and the activities that accompany them will provide the students in my program a means of mobility to help keep their bodies developing and organized, and their minds alert, calm, and ready to receive the information presented to them by their teachers.

The products I have selected in this projects are all aimed at different areas of motor input and challenge, some overlapping several areas as well. Each item already has a place and a plan in our movement area, and I know that my students will be so excited to get going and growing with these amazing activities and opportunities!
