My Project

Zen Class is a middle school fitness program designed to promote physical strength, flexibility, and emotional well-being. Blending yoga, aerobics, dance, weight training, mindfulness, games, and hiking, the class empowers students to build healthy lifelong habits. Students will develop strength and balance through exercise and yoga while reducing stress through mindfulness. Funding will provide essential equipment like dumbbells, yoga rollers. Zen Class aims to nurture confident, resilient students equipped to care for their bodies and minds.

Our school is committed to fostering not just academic excellence but the physical and mental well-being of our students.

We are seeking funding to continue our Zen Class, a fitness program designed specifically for middle school students. Zen Class will blend yoga, mindfulness, aerobics, and strength training to support students’ physical health, emotional resilience, and stress management. Through this innovative class, we aim to empower students with lifelong habits of self-care and wellness.

To implement Zen Class successfully, we are requesting funding to purchase essential equipment, including foam rollers, foam balls and sets of dumbbells. These materials will ensure that each student has the opportunity to fully participate and benefit from the program. It will also help students develop healthy routines to stay fit and healthy.
