My Project

This project will support 69 students in three fourth grade classrooms next year. In fourth grade, we read about fifty percent fiction text and fifty percent non-fiction text. In our classrooms, Scholastic Storyworks Magazine has proven to be an incredible tool for many years.

The subscription includes six issues throughout the year, and each issue includes engaging texts including fiction stories, nonfiction articles, paired passages, opinion writing, a read-aloud play, and more.

In addition to exciting and engaging texts, it comes with incredible teacher resources and student activities to teach and practice comprehension skills and strategies in a meaningful way. My students can't get enough of the Storyworks Magazines. They can't wait for the next issue to arrive.
