Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school's boys' and girls' volleyball programs are growing, but our equipment has not kept pace with our students' enthusiasm. Currently, our teams do not have a dedicated volleyball rack to properly store and transport our volleyball net system and equipment. Without appropriate storage, our net and related equipment must be moved and stored in ways that can lead to unnecessary wear and tear, setup delays, and safety concerns.

Valuable practice time is often spent locating, transporting, and organizing equipment instead of developing skills, teamwork, and confidence on the court.

A volleyball rack would provide our student-athletes with a reliable way to store and move their net system efficiently. This equipment would benefit both our boys' and girls' volleyball teams, serving dozens of student-athletes throughout the school year. By keeping our equipment organized and protected, we can maximize practice time, extend the life of our volleyball equipment, and create a more professional athletic environment for our students. Our student-athletes work hard every day to represent our school with pride, and they deserve the equipment necessary to support their growth and success.
