My Students

My students motivate me to work hard and never give up. As a Special Education Resource Teacher, I see a variety of students throughout my day. These students stay with their general classrooms most of the day but come to me for extra help with reading, math, writing and social skills/behavior skills. Learning is a challenge for them. I love being able to focus on each of their individual needs and to really create lessons that they need specifically. I love working with these amazing students.

My Project

My classroom is in need of storage space for each student to keep their notebooks and folders to help keep our room organized. Different groups of students come in and out of my classroom all day and keep their binders and folders in desks in my room. I do not have access to the type of storage shelving that my students need. I have requested some wooden cubbies where each student will have their own place to store their work. This will help students to learn how to keep track of their belongings and be organized. This will also help me be able to easily find student work when I need to check their work or add to their binders.
