My Project

Our students are amazing! They are caring, talented, and friendly. They are resilient and knowledgeable. And they are energetic and full of enthusiasm! However, many of them are also dealing with issues beyond their years. Food insecurity and not having enough food to eat at home are some of those issues.

To help out students with issues of hunger, our school started a Snack Closet to keep them fueled up at school- and it's time to restock!

Having snacks like Goldfish, cheese and crackers, and fruit snacks available can help our students concentrate on their learning instead of their rumbling bellies. Even more importantly, it lets our kids be kids and focus on their goals, dreams, and achievements at school- instead of when they're going to get their next meal.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
