My Project

My students are eager readers and writers. They love a great novel, and I yearn for a variety of texts that will keep them reading. As the year progresses, I want them to explore reading and writing Sci-Fi stories. Therefore, I am creating this Donors Choose project to provide a Science Fiction novel for my students to read and use as a mentor text when they start creating their own Science Fiction stories. My student love to have choices, so I choose four different novels that explore elements of Sci-Fi. Based on their choice, they will be placed into book club groups where they will support comprehention and collaborate in learning.
