My Students

My students are inner city students that are trying their best to learn in an ever-changing, fast world. They need fun ways to learn especially after the year we just had. They need to improve their thinking and problem solving skills in a way that involves cooperative learning and thinking.

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, and these STEM kits will help promote skills that are tough for them to learn.

It creates stamina when problem solving because it is fun to see what they are able to build. They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

My students will be starting a STEM Club. We are trying to learn creatively by building and exploring. By having more Legos and Gears Building sets, we will be able to make our club more effective and open it up to more students. They will have the opportunity to build and learn about how things work when they are having fun. For young children, especially in the Kindergarten and First Grade, learning while you are playing is very important to the growth and development. My students will just think they are playing, when they truly are learning. Please help them learn creatively.
