My Project

The students in our school are a great group of learners. Each child brings their own strengths and weaknesses to class. I have a group of students in grades 1-5 in a special education classroom. The Liquid Measuring Set and Mix And Measure Activity Set will help with teaching fractions. The Base Ten Blocks Complete Classroom Set and Torlam Magnetic Ten-Frame Set will be used to help with place value and hands-on addition and subtraction. The novelinks Transparent 4" x 6" Photo Cases and IRIS USA 6 Quart Clear Plastic Modular Storage Bins will be used along with laminating pouches and velcro to create individual STEM task bins and games I make using resources from other educators with the Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards. These materials will allow me to have STEM file folder games and task boxes that the student will use individually while I work with other students.

The students are creative thinkers and hands-on STEM materials will let them use their skills and knowledge to enhance their learning both in a whole group, with a partner and working individually.

Help me give the students a range of hands-on STEM materials that will build creativity and teach problem-solving and cooperative learning, which will set them up for an engaging learning experience.
