Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I plan to use these items so my students can complete building challenges such as bridges and race tracks. We are getting coding robots and want to be able to incorporate building and circuits to show the flow of power. For the circulatory system students will get the chance to get a hands on view of how their bodies function and the importance of each system.

I want to be able to let them explore science in a hands on way where they have room to be creative and have opportunities to fail and persevere.

These STEM materials will give my students access to supplies and learning experiences they don't get at home. My kids come in everyday and try to do the best they can with what they have. They want to learn and are eager to try new things.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
