I think that reading these books was a wonderful way to teach them the social and emotional skills needed to be successful students. We were able to read, do fun activities and reflect on what we learned from the books all year long. The books gave us examples we could refer to all year long. We read Tattle tongue did the activities from the activity book. We made posters and pictures of ourselves with a yellow and purple spotted tongue. We reviewed the rules of tattling and how to be a Danger Ranger whenever it was needed. \r\nWe also used our tattle phone. It was incredible. When students were not following the rules, we would reference one of the books we had read. It was great when the students started making connections to situations on the playground and what they learned from the books we got. I am so grateful as are my students for the wonderful books we were able to read in our classes and appreciate your generosity.
