Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We live in a colorful world. There’s something magical about experimenting in color! Presently we only have access to black and white visuals. By having a color printer, we hope to excite and engage our students into fun colorful STEM activities. Often times when we present our activities, the students are not as excited as we would like.

We hope that by adding color visuals we can help stimulate the mind into engaging in activities that will encourage critical thinking skills, enhance scientific literacy, and cultivate the next generation of trailblazers and problem solvers.

We also want to be able to print and display our experiments in color, so that we can show pride in our students’ creations as well as inspire an innovative spirit from the work they have done.
