My Project

In our district, kindergarten students do a literacy unit on toys and how things work. I want to try a lesson that I saw in another STEM lab. They used old crayons to make new crayons for the students. It was awesome and they loved it.

Making crayons with old crayon pieces is a great way to recycle in a school setting.

I am asking for books about crayons, molds for new crayons, a toaster oven to melt the crayon pieces, and new crayons to replace the old ones we use in the classrooms.
