Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning. They all have a very different, yet special and unique way of learning! We incorporate a variety of learning strategies to meet their needs. They are always willing to help each other reach whatever their individual goal is. I’m amazed by their patience and goodwill to help each other. They are definitely a special group of kids to have in a classroom. I have been blessed by having the opportunity to move up with them next year. With that, I know exactly what they need to have a successful school year.
My Project
We know that science is one of the most exciting subjects for students but it can also be very hard to understand certain concepts (especially with just books). By adding fun hands-on activities, my students will have the opportunity to learn through play and through experimenting! Help my students become organized scientists and learn through play. The items we are asking for will help my students take charge of their learning. From learning about electricity to magnetism to building their own robots and learning about different food chains. We look forward to having different activities in our room to help increase our engagement and learning!
