My Project

Our Fort Hall Elementary School has made our 2023~2024 goal to build-up our STEAM curriculum significantly. We know that Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math are the key to these kids future. While trying to find a new and exciting way to present my lessons I stumbled across a plethora of STEAM activities that can be done using Play ~ Dough!

I teach on The Fort Hall Indian Reservation.

My students are bright and smart and funny! Even though they come from a lower income background and don't always have every advantage, our faculty has been able to do and bring them so much more educationally, from the generosity of Donor's Choose.

If this project is funded we are going to do models for Science , exploring the mixing of colors, set up dinosaur excavations, engineer ways to make skycrapers with popsicle sticks using Play-Dough as our anchor, practice fractions, the end is as endless as the kids imagination can go!
