My Project

We are a STEAM school but we all don't have the ability to use tools like 3d printing to bring design ideas and concepts to life. I want students in my classroom to have access to a 3D printer. I picked a printer I know well so I can help students bring their projects to life. While my social studies students will be able to bring life to historical artifacts by scanning in 3d and bringing them to life, I also have a homeroom study hall class and I have several students that are bored and caught up on work. They all have access to 3d design programs through the school and got very excited about the possibility of designing and printing, among other things, parts for our robotics program, gliders and rc planes they have designed, game pieces for games they want to design, and locker organization parts just to name a few!
