Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a third-grade teacher. I love 3rd-grade students because they are eager to learn and explore with me. I want to teach my students everything they need to know to be successful people in their communities.
I want my students to know that I am excited for them to start learning about new cultures and places in this amazing world.
Also, I want my students to know that the world is big and full of all different kinds of people and things. Students always find it hard to understand that the world is bigger than what they see in their community.
My Project
Having these materials in the classroom for the students would mean for them to see that a safe classroom is important. My students work hard every day to keep our room clean, safe, and open to learning for themselves and me. I am grateful for my students and would love to be able to help them start the new year with a warm head and a safe clean environment. My class would feel happy to know that people in the world can help them be warm in this cold winter city they live in. I think that starting off the new year of 2022 with a gift of warm wishes for their own safety in the classroom would be greatly appreciated.
