My Project

My students come into school hungry and sometimes miss the breakfast window. We all know that if you do not eat in the morning you are sluggish and not your best self. Therefore having breakfast bars and snacks will allow me to feed them whenever they arrive and when they get sluggish and hungry throughout the day. Most of my students only get their meals at school so they are often hungry.

In our class we love to have cozy warm sock day where we ditch the shoes and work in our cozy socks.

Again they have socks with holes and sometimes are embarrassed so giving them socks to use for these days would allow them to participate and have fun while learning.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
