This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is made up of a warm and vibrant community. Although we are 80% low-income, making us a Title I school, our families come together with our staff to support our students by all means possible. Our students, ranging from Kindergarten through 6th grade, are over 50% English Language Learners and have such an enthusiasm for learning.

Your support in providing the needs of the students in my classroom will help them achieve social, emotional, and academic success.

My Project

As we go back to in-person instruction many of our students and families are anxious about how it will go in the first couple of weeks. In order to ensure that we stay safe in the classroom, we need the necessary cleaning and sanitizing supplies.

I want to provide my students with face masks, sanitizers, cleaning wipes, and anything else we need to keep our classroom clean and safe for all.

Having these supplies will alleviate the safety concerns of our students and families and it can help us focus on the social-emotional and academic needs of all the students in my classroom.
