Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Research shows that there is a link between dehydration and poor cognitive function in children. Dehydrated children are less able to concentrate and focus in class. Generally, 54% of students are dehydrated daily.

Drinking water throughout the day helps support a student's immune system.

Hydrated students are ready to learn! Drinking water promotes all-around health, which we are prioritizing in 2024. Motivational stickers will allow the students to customize their water bottles, encouraging them to want to drink more water while adding in some much-needed fun!

Having water bottles for our students would help us keep our students hydrated, healthy, and learning. Many of our students cannot afford to purchase water bottles on their own. This project will help all of my students have their very own customized water bottles.
