Help me give my students tools that will help them navigate their learning during the coronavirus pandemic by allowing them sanitary individual spaces to keep their books.

My Students

My second-grade students embrace life. I love to give them opportunities to enhance their learning.

They still have the wonder and curiosity that makes teaching them such a pleasure, but they are beginning to comprehend and empathize on a much deeper level.

They grow each day and need lots of time to socialize and dialog with peers to understand the concepts being taught.

My Project

During the Coronavirus Pandemic, students need individual spaces to keep their supplies. Teachers have had to find ways to eliminate shared spaces and certain rhythms that used to be part of the classroom culture and implement new individual sections and systems that ensure students stay safe.

This bookshelf with book boxes will create a safe space for students to individually keep their books.

The erasable pens will encourage students to write without having to share supplies, student offices and the teacher chair are wipeable, making them easy to clean and disinfect.
