Help me give my students access to books while they are on quarantine. Some students need basic supplies, such as shampoo and toothbrushes.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Due to COVID-19, our school was shut down unexpectedly. We were under the impression that we would be back within two weeks. Therefore, very few materials were taken home. I allowed my students to take books from the class library, but they've already read through them all. Fortunately, our district provided one Chromebook per family member. Additionally, our school is offering students free breakfast and lunch. However, they need more materials to succeed academically.
My Project
Many of my students do not have access to books or other learning materials at home. In fact, some students do not have any shampoo to keep clean. Therefore, these items will keep students reading during these scary and unprecedented times. My heart breaks when I hear that my students are bored, but have very little materials to stay busy at home.
By giving students these books, it will allow them to travel, while staying in the comfort and safety of their own home.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for considering donating to my students.
