Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Most of my students are from diverse backgrounds, and many of them are English Language Learners. This year is my second year of teaching, and I am excited to be part of my student's success. All my students are determined and hardworking. The school I work at is a title one school with 80% of students qualified for free reduced lunch. Our school focuses on academic success, family involvement, and building community.
My Project
Noise-canceling headphones will help my students stay focused during small groups. While my students work on computers, I do small groups focusing on phonics and math. With these headsets, students can focus on their lessons without getting distracted.
All the phonics and math games can be used as rewards or fun learning activities during small groups.
Fun and engaging lessons help students retain information better and stay motivated.
All the other school supplies are what my students use daily. So I don't want my students to worry about bringing their supplies.
