My Project

My students are hardworking, resilient, and eager to learn. They attend a Title I middle school where every student receives free breakfast and lunch. Despite the challenges many face outside of school, they come to class each day ready to learn, collaborate, and work toward their goals.

For many students, something as simple as having a notebook, binder, pencil, or folder can make a tremendous difference in their ability to stay organized and fully participate in class.

Unfortunately, school supplies often wear out, get lost, or become difficult for families to replace throughout the year.

This project will provide essential classroom supplies including binders, spiral notebooks, pencils, pens, markers, folders, and dividers for my students.

These materials will help students organize class notes, complete assignments, track their learning, and participate fully in daily science activities. Organized materials allow students to spend less time worrying about missing supplies and more time focusing on learning.

The supplies will be used throughout the school year during note-taking, interactive notebook activities, science investigations, group projects, and review sessions. Having reliable access to these materials helps students build organizational skills that support academic success across all subjects.

When students have the tools they need, they are better prepared to learn. These supplies will help students: Stay organized and prepared for class, Take meaningful notes and track their learning, Complete assignments and projects successfully, Develop responsibility and organizational skills, Participate fully in classroom activities, and Build confidence as learners.

Something as simple as a notebook, folder, or pencil can remove a barrier that stands between a student and their education. By providing these essential supplies, we can ensure that every student has the opportunity to focus on learning rather than worrying about whether they have the materials needed to succeed.
