Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Stage craft is a process and we need some materials to help with the process. The students are learning how to make do with materials that are less than quality. We need new screws, bits, extension chords and paint rollers.

Stage craft is a place where kids who love the performing arts but don't want to be on stage have the opportunity to shine without having to be in the spotlight.

These kids are often overlooked because they are not the vocal ones. They are the place that when you have to consider budgets get the left overs of the budget to get enough to get by. We are down to old screws that are starting to become stripped, we don't have extension chords that can reach where the process of building would be easier. These kids also love every tool they are allowed to touch. They are learning skills that will carry them through life, there is always a place use building skills in life.
