Because of you, our students now have a full classroom set of 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, and they are already making meaningful connections to the text.\r\n\r\nWhile many of our donors love reading (we do too!), teaching a book means helping students apply ideas to real life. This book introduces important skills such as personal responsibility, goal-setting, communication, teamwork, and self-reflection—habits that support both academic success and personal growth.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, reading is interactive and reflective. Students discuss ideas, write about their own experiences, and practice applying the habits to everyday situations. Several students have been especially engaged, sharing how the strategies help them stay organized, communicate better, and feel more confident in their choices.\r\n\r\nThis is a major accomplishment, since the majority of my students are from low income homes without much support from community, and sadly, some from within their own homes. Reading this book has ignited a spark among several of my seniors who have believed they were alone in this world.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our students.
