Squeaky Clean Rooms Produce Crystal Clear Learning!

My students need a clean and healthy environment to work in. Anything that I can do to assist in this by using Clorox Wipes, Quill Paper Towels, Kleenex, and Nestle Pure Life water, I will.

My Students

My students are full of life and ready to learn! They love challenges that test their minds and allow them to voice their opinions. Students are more willing to do, try, and share when they feel comfortable in class.

Teaching in a Title I school, many of my students have difficulty completing any assignments at home because of lack of supplies and resources.

Many students come from humble means, which sometimes makes it hard for them to get the supplies they need. Also, home may not be their best learning environment.

We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met. My students are an amazing group of humans, and I feel privileged to teach a new grouping of them every year.

My Project

No one likes a dirty space. Students will be the first to tell you if there is something unpleasant smelling in the room, something sticky on the bench, or if there is anything that they use is not as clean as they would like. With Clorox wipes, Kleenex tissues, Quill paper towels, and Nestle Life bottled water, my students can assist me in keeping our classroom clean.

By showing students how to take pride in their space, there can be a clear affiliation with their work.

With Clorox wipes, Quill paper towels, and Rubbermaid brush and dustpan, we will have a section in the classroom dedicated to cleaning supplies where my students can access them at any time. Students will be able to clean or tidy up any messes whenever needed. I hope to teach my students pride and accountability in their own space and classwork.

Working in a Title I school, many of my students do not have the means to take care of themselves when they do not feel well. By having Kleenex boxes and Nestle Life water bottles, my students will have the necessities to keep up and take charge of their own hygiene in class, whether it is to take care of themselves or a fellow classmate.
