Having a supply of Maxwell headphones in my classroom will allow both fluent English speakers and emerging ESOL (English as a Second Language) students the best opportunity in reading texts and in completing class activities. To help with the comprehension of my struggling readers, we listen to eBooks and complete warm up activities. No matter the language the student is struggling with, hearing a word properly spoken and seeing it in the correct context, improves skill and comprehension. Also by having the ability to follow along and listen to texts, students' work is properly paced, and they gain independence and self-confidence from these small freedoms. The Sorbus Storage Organizer will allow my students and myself to keep all of the Maxwell headphones organized and top working condition. Teaching students who struggle in your language is difficult, trying to do so in another poses another challenges-- listening while following the text is beneficial to all students. The headphones allow me more time with students individually, and to see if any are struggling. The GlareShade Florescent Light Filter Defuser covers create a softer hue in my classroom. They will be on the lights in my room all year long and for many years to come. GlareShade Florescent Light Filter Defuser takes away the harshness of the lighting and relaxes students.
