My Students

The softball team needs to work on hitting. Kids not hitting is the number one reason players stop playing. We don't want that.

These athletes have a love of the game.

They want to improve and will work extremely hard to get better. They realize that hard work pays off. This school has a sports culture that is unmatched in our district. This machine will help these kids continue to be successful.

My Project

We will use the pitching machine and balls everyday in practice. Hitting is half of the game so it should be half of the practice. These athletes will become great hitters which is important because that is the number one reason kids stop playing. Softball is a lifelong sport. If they are successful now they will be active throughout their life.

The pitching machine could possibly be one of the most important practice items a softball team has.

Yet my team does not have one. Hitting is half the game and should be practiced everyday. Help me make these kids great.
