Spectacular Student Council! Government Rules!

Help me give my students these awesome art supplies so they are able to complete their jobs as Student Council Members! We campaign for elections and fundraise for our community so making posters is a must!

My Project

As Stuco Members, my kids are always advertising for a fundraiser or collection that is held in our building. They are in full charge of how to proceed with their projects and they are always thinking of new ways to show school spirit. We often use oak tag paper and lots of markers, among other resources, to create campaigns or advertisements that are hung around our building. For example, we are currently in the process of announcing our SOUP-er Bowl collection. We collect cans of soup for our local food pantries.

In the past, we have collected for many other organizations such as Rotary and the local Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness.

My Students really enjoy creating these posters which let others know they are trying their very best to do the right thing! My goal is to provide them with the materials like crayons, pencils, and facial tissue they need to complete these tasks.

Each year, I have a new group of, as well as some returning students who really feel student government is important. They all learn how to support our school as well as our community. They take these collections seriously. I'm crazy about all of them and how they rise to to occasion! These items will definitely help them get the word out!
