Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is to help support student engagement by being able to provide them colorful physical paper resources. I know that my students engage better with colorful physical materials. The materials requested would be used for the rest of the school year and stay with me throughout my teaching career.

Some things that would result from these materials include, but are not limited to: printouts from TPT to supplement lesson planning for literacy or subject matter; IEP academic and social-emotional learning goal and assessment resources from TPT; creating lasting color paper resources with the laminator I have; sending home personalized, colorful letters to families regarding student progress and rewards; and more.

With these materials, I hope to engage my students and families more through providing another means to learning through multiple modalities.
