Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Over the years, there has been an influx of students coming in from other countries that do not speak English. The majority of them coming from a Spanish speaking country. I want the students to be able to pick up a book from my bookshelf with relief that they can read the same popular books other kids read. Especially books that have been translated from English so that they can communicate with their classmates. They have time to learn English but its also important to foster their love of reading in their own language.

The headphones are also a big help in my classroom.

Families have been going through hard times in this economy and need to prioritize orher items. This alleviates the pressure to have students purchase headphones and have good quality ones so no one feels ashamed.

The rest we use to have a clean and lovely environment!
