My Project

Spanish-speaking English Language Learners are becoming more prominent in our classrooms. Almost every year, there is a student in our classrooms that is new to the United States with very limited, if any, English language skills. Currently, I don't have any Spanish books in my classroom for these students to read.

My hope is that these books will give students some comfort in their new homes and help them to feel welcome in my classroom.

All students deserve the opportunity to read books they enjoy and to learn from the stories they read.
