My Project

My students are eager, young, innovative, and compassionate learners who work hard on a daily basis. Our students are both sympathetic and empathetic to classmates and love to come to the reading room to focus on phonics skills and strategies. Many of my students come from diverse backgrounds, with a large percentage of them being economically disadvantaged students.

Help me give my students a solid seat that is not a distraction!

My students visit the reading room weekly for 45 minutes. They are able to move around from the reading table to the rug to the activity table in the reading room. These solid chairs will give my students another option to use while in the room. I do have flexible seating that moves, but unfortunately for some students, this option can be extremely distracting! I am asking for 10 black sturdy new chairs for my readers to use on a daily basis.
