Hello! I teach Academic Intervention Services to students in K-5. Our rural elementary school in upstate New York is known for its motto 'Good Students and Good Citizens,' which truly does describe our student body. However, even exemplary students sometimes need a little extra support. The children that I see are those who have difficulties in specific academic areas such as phonemic awareness, reading, and writing or those who have been recommended by their teacher for additional support with classroom instruction.
