This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our STEM and Robotics students enjoyed soldering this year! The students gained experience in soldering the electronic components of vehicles and basic wire joints. Additionally, they learned how to solder through hole joints on PCBs.

Although we used lead free solder, they still had to deal with smoke that was released from the projects.

This project will provide solder smoke absorbers to be used during this projects. The smoke absorbers will suck up the smoke, leaving the classroom air cleaner and healthier. The students will greatly appreciate these soldering accessories!
