My Project

I work as an elementary school counselor in a Title 1 school. Students right now are struggling with having the correct tool set to regulate their emotions.

I want to provide students the opportunity to learn social emotional skills so they have tools to help them navigate through difficult times.

All 475 students at my school will be impacted with the tools that I have requested. The tools will be available to all students to help them when they are having difficult days and to help them self regulate.

As students continue through my counseling program, my goal is to make sure that they have the life skills to help them.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
