My Project

Quarantine schooling and all the challenges that came in 2020 really did a number on our children's emotional development. These children need a lot of support and direct instruction on emotions and how to manage big feelings.

The Scribble Spot stories have been capturing my students' attention and hearts.

I have been managing with some read aloud videos on the computer. I could do so much more for all of my students by weaving the actual books and songs into their music lessons with the help of the plus spots.

Students who have a toolbox full of emotional regulation tools are students who are well equipped for all kinds of learning.
