Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Students in my class come with a wide range of abilities, interests, and needs. In our integrated classroom, we have respect and understanding that each individual is different, yet equally important.
My students understand that in our class, everyone gets what they need to be successful.
One common goal we all share is motivation for learning in a fun, comfortable, and engaging classroom environment. With this, we are able to meet the needs of all the different learners at the same time.
My Project
Social Emotional Learning Support is Essential! I am requesting items that will support my students with social-emotional learning this school year. It is more important than ever that we support our students now.
Teaching social-emotional learning skills such as managing emotions and resiliency is very important, especially during these unprecedented times!
Please help give each of my students a Growth Mindset Daily Practice Journal to write in everyday that will help guide my students toward becoming more flexible, confident learners. I am also requesting Grab & Write Social-Emotional Prompts. I would love to introduce the day with a social emotional writing prompt to strengthen social-emotional learning in the classroom or during remote learning.
