Social Distancing Flexible Seating for the Drama Llama Classroom!

Help me give my students flexible seating in our classroom so they can get the most out of class and be able to socially distance in small groups.

My Students

This year I will be teaching high school (9-12) English Language Arts and SAT/ACT/ASVAB Test Prep courses. I usually teach 18-28 students, though the classroom capacity is 30. I will additionally be sponsoring and leading an after-school fitness club for students, faculty, and staff who are interested in increasing their fitness and health levels. My school is a Title I school meaning all students receive free and reduced lunch and breakfast. My students have a wide variety of interests and reading comprehension levels as well as writing levels. I try very hard to make sure I scaffold my instruction to meet the needs of all of my students. My goal is to make my classroom a thriving community for my students.

My Project

Thank you so much for your interest in our Drama Llama Classroom! I am dedicated to make my classroom focused on fun student learning.

These materials will help us use clusters in our classroom with flexible seating so that students can social distance and find comfort in the classroom and have seating options, often this can help curb behavior issues or attention deficiencies.

These materials will make it so that students can sit the way they are comfortable. My students have requested stool and floor types of seating to be available to them. The great thing about this project is that most of these materials should last several years which means they help not only my 130 students this year, but also my students in the years to come!
