This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My soccer team is getting the season started and as we begin our training sessions we are still experiencing very cold days. Their dedication to becoming a unified and prepared team for our first match is commendable and extraordinary. We still need a few things to be able to practice many of the necessary skills they need to develop and at times it is difficult when they are struggling with the frigid temperatures.

Many of my students are unable to acquire their own cold weather gear and often come to practice in shorts and t-shirts regardless of the temperature and need gear to get us through the coldest months of our soccer season.

The sweatshirts and gloves will help make sure that my athletes are able to participate in practice without having to bear the cold. My goalkeepers are also in need of the proper pants to be able to dive without hurting themselves. My soccer team is ready to take our practices and our team to the next level and greatly appreciate your support.
